Napo educates teachers and students about OSH in Czechia

The Science Fair 2024, the largest educational exhibition in the Czech Republic, is coming back to Prague! 

This annual event brings together leading scientific minds, innovative companies and educational institutions to showcase the latest advancements and inspire the next generation of thinkers and innovators.

Our Czech focal point Ministerstvo práce a sociálních věcí will be present at the fair with an occupational safety and health (OSH) info point targeted at primary school teachers and pupils.

They will highlight the Napo for Teachers project and explain how this resource seeks to integrate OSH principles into education, fostering a culture of safety from a young age. Presentations on how to use these tools effectively in the classroom will be given, along with promotional materials and information about the project. Additionally, Napo films will be screened throughout the event and our hero will be present to attract visitors of all ages.

Young attendees will be able to participate in interactive activities like OSH quizzes and crossword puzzles. These will not only be fun but also educational, encouraging children to learn about OSH in an engaging manner.

Visitors to the fair will also have an opportunity to learn about EU-OSHA’s ‘Safe and Healthy Work in the Digital Age’ campaign, which addresses the evolving landscape of work environments in the context of digitalisation.
