Preventing burnout and supporting mental health at work in Budapest

How can workplaces stop stress from turning into burnout? A conference in Budapest looks at this question and at what employers, workers and experts can do together to protect mental health at work.

Speakers present the Healthy Workplaces Campaign ‘Together for mental health at work’ and share what assessments of workers’ ability to work have shown in the public and private sectors. The programme also covers burnout prevention and why managing psychosocial risks is a shared responsibility. In the afternoon, a company explains how it raises safety awareness among its staff.

The conference is aimed at employers, managers, human resources and occupational safety and health practitioners, academia and social partners. It is organised by our Hungarian focal point, the Ministry for Social and Family Affairs – Department of Occupational Safety and Health.
