Celebrating a decade of safety at work: New edition of the INCOBOZ conference arrives to Slovakia

The 10th edition of the international occupational safety and health (OSH) conference INCOBOZ is taking place in Slovakia, marking an important milestone in the country’s commitment to advance workplace safety and health.

Hosted in cooperation with our focal point National Labour Inspectorate / Národný inšpektorát práce, the event brings together experts, practitioners and stakeholders to discuss the latest OSH trends, prevention strategies and best practices.

As part of this two-day event, attendees will have the opportunity to discover EU-OSHA's Healthy Workplaces Campaign ‘Safe and healthy work in the digital age’. William Cockburn, Executive Director of EU-OSHA, will provide an overview of the state of play and emerging trends in OSH within the rapidly changing world of work.

Participants will hear presentations on the importance of collaborative efforts in achieving improvements in OSH standards. The issue of cybersecurity in Slovakia will also be discussed; as digital threats continue to grow, understanding their impact on workplace safety is becoming increasingly vital.

Experts will present the latest advancements and methodologies in labour inspection, focusing on enhancing the effectiveness of safety protocols. They will also shed light on how recent legislative changes are shaping risk assessments at work, offering attendees a comprehensive understanding of the evolving regulatory landscape.
