The Portuguese OSH community discusses safe workplace digitalisation in Porto

Labour inspectors, safety technicians, occupational physicians and other actors involved in occupational safety and health (OSH) in Portugal will explore the impact of digitalisation on workplace safety during a seminar organised by our focal point in the country, Autoridade para as Condições do Trabalho, in collaboration with the Polytechnic Institute of Porto.

The speakers will present data on digitalisation at work based on studies conducted in Portugal within the framework of the Healthy Workplaces Campaign 2023-25. In this context, the challenges and opportunities of workplace digitalisation, as well as its effect on workers’ psychosocial health, will be assessed. A demonstration of EU-OSHA's Online interactive Risk Assessment (OiRA) tools will be provided as an example of dynamic risk management tools.
