AI-based worker management and automation of tasks – The impact on health & safety

The European Association of Chemical Distributors (Fecc) will host a webinar focused on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and task automation on occupational safety and health (OSH).

The event is scheduled for 24 March 2025, 14:00-15:00 CET and EU-OSHA will take part on it.

The discussion will explore how digital technologies are shaping worker management and workplace safety. It will address both opportunities and challenges, including the potential benefits of AI-driven systems, the psychosocial risks associated with digital transformation, and strategies to ensure that automation supports worker wellbeing.

EU-OSHA experts, Emmanuelle Brun, Senior Research Project Manager, and Nataliya Dimitrova, Communications Officer for Corporate Promotions, will contribute insights on key trends and resources available to help organisations navigate these changes.

The webinar provides an opportunity for stakeholders to gain a deeper understanding of how AI and automation are reshaping the workplace and the implications for OSH.

Fecc is an official campaign partner of the Healthy Workplaces Campaign ‘Safe and Healthy Work in the Digital Age.
