The International ORP Foundation is hosting its 25th International Congress ‘Present and Future of OSH in a Digital World’ in Madrid. The congress aims to bring together OSH experts, researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers to explore how digital technologies are transforming workplace safety and health. The event aligns with the Healthy Workplaces Campaign (HWC) 2023-25 'Safe and healthy work in the digital age', with the International ORP Foundation participating as an official campaign partner.

The programme, among other aspects, highlights how robotics, drones, IoT, sensors, and artificial intelligence are shaping safer and more efficient work environments. Presentations cover innovations in construction site safety, real-time monitoring systems, data-driven decision-making, and predictive analytics, alongside discussions on social transformations, the future of work, and the ethical implementation of new technologies. The event sessions are expected to address practical strategies for integrating digital tools into OSH practices and fostering a culture of prevention.

This congress offers a unique platform to examine both the opportunities and challenges of digitalisation, showcasing solutions that enhance worker protection, wellbeing, and resilience in an increasingly digital world.
