Building a culture of safety in Spanish vocational education

Our Spanish focal point, Instituto Nacional de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo, in collaboration with the Virgen de la Paloma Vocational Education and Training (VET) Centre, is organising a workshop exploring how digitalisation influences occupational safety and health (OSH) in education and beyond.

The event brings together VET teachers and students to promote a culture of prevention and awareness among future professionals entering a digitalised world of work.

The event will include presentations and experts' insights and interactive resources, as well as information on EU-OSHA's Healthy Workplaces Campaign. Screenings of student-made videos that creatively address OSH in digital contexts will also be shown. There will also be a session on a practical guide on the use of artificial intelligence in education.

The event takes place in person on 6 November and is streamed on INSST’s YouTube channel the week after.

Speakers:

  • Belén Pérez Aznar, INSST
  • Mercedes Tejedor, INSST
