Health and safety at work - Living, understanding and regulating the new frontiers of the working world

The rise of new digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence and robotics, is transforming workplaces and introducing new challenges for health and safety. Addressing these issues requires an open dialogue involving all stakeholders in the European economic and productive system, including social partners, institutional and political actors.

A high-level discussion on this topic will take place at the European Parliament in Brussels on 18 February 2025. The event, organised by the Rubes Triva Foundation and supported by Brando Benifei, Co-Rapporteur for the Artificial Intelligence Act, will bring together representatives from academia, institutions, industry, and social partners. Participants will explore the challenges and opportunities posed by new regulations, including the Platforms Directive, the AI Regulation, and the new Machinery Regulation.
