Health and Safety at Work International Festival
The Urbino Charter is a declaration of intent to promote workers’ well-being in the workplace. The aim is to solicit reflection on issues related to the theme of prevention, while at the same time stimulating attention to the values that cannot be renounced for the effective protection of the health, safety and well-being of those who work.
“The psycho-physical integrity of the person is an absolute good for the community. This is the incipit of the Urbino Charter”, commented the Director, Giuseppe Mulazzi, of the Rubes Triva Foundation.
“The Urbino Charter is a decalogue of ten principles, absolutely indispensable to effectively guarantee the protection of workers’ health and safety and organisational well-being in every sphere, private and public,” added Professor Paolo Pascucci, President of the Olympus Observatory, Professor of Labour Law at the University of Urbino.
“The European Agency EU-OSHA is committed to disseminating the Urbino Charter. It is crucial that all actors, institutional and non-institutional, have these clear principles and can coordinate them synergistically”, stressed William Cockburn, Executive Director of the European Agency – EU-OSHA
