A conference organised by our national focal point Istituto Nazionale per l'Assicurazione contro gli Infortuni sul Lavoro (INAIL) is set to discuss these changes. The event will gather professionals across multiple disciplines to facilitate these discussions.  The conference aims to promote understanding the multifaceted role of AI and digital technologies in enhancing workplace health and safety. With accreditation from professional associations such as those for agronomists, forest doctors, architects, employment consultants, accountants, bookkeepers, surveyors, and engineers, the event offers participants the opportunity to earn training credits while gaining valuable insights. This multidisciplinary approach ensures a comprehensive exploration of the challenges and opportunities presented by technological advancements in the field. One of the key themes of the conference will be the application of AI in preventing occupational risks. This includes using AI to predict and mitigate potential hazards before they materialise, thereby safeguarding workers and reducing workplace accidents. Additionally, the event will address how AI can revolutionise worker training, providing more effective and personalised training programs that enhance overall safety. Another significant focus will be on the support AI can offer in judicial activities related to workplace safety. By leveraging AI, legal processes can be streamlined, and more accurate assessments can be made, ultimately contributing to a safer work environment. Furthermore, the conference will explore the evolution of occupational medicine in the digital age, highlighting both the opportunities and the challenges that come with integrating new technologies into healthcare practices. The day will conclude with a panel discussion featuring experts and representatives from various sectors. This session aims to share best practices and future prospects, fostering a collaborative environment where different perspectives on occupational safety and health can be discussed.
