Challenges of Occupational Health and Safety Services in the Digital Era

This event marks the 1st National Meeting of Occupational Safety Technicians, aiming to provide safety technicians, social partners, and others in the field of OSH with a high-level conference on the impact of digital transformation, emerging trends and risks, as well as creating a networking space that fosters the sharing of experiences and dialogue.

The morning session will address perspectives and practices at the international and national levels, reflecting on the challenges and opportunities for OSH services in Portugal.

The afternoon session, integrated with the actions carried out by ACT as EU-OSHA’S National Focal Point, will present the results of two studies on the Portuguese situation, namely the ESENER 2024 findings for Portugal as well as a study  on the practices that support compliance with legal OSH obligations, culminating in a final reflection on the main aspects discussed throughout the day.

Xabier Irastorza will represent EU-OSHA at the conference.
