The National Association of Workers Mutilated and Disabled by Work (ANMIL) was founded in 1943 and is currently recognized as an APS ETS. It is entrusted with the protection and representation of victims of workplace accidents, workers who contract occupational diseases, as well as the widows and orphans of those who have died due to work (Presidential Decree of March 31, 1979).
ANMIL has been assisting and protecting this category for over 80 years, promoting initiatives aimed at improving legislation on workplace accidents and job reintegration, and offering numerous personalized support services in the social security and welfare fields. It is also committed to raising public awareness on these issues, with particular focus on accident prevention and safety policies.

The ANMIL campaign focused on psychosocial well-being in the workplace aims to answer a simple question that everyone is often asked: “How’s work going?” We tend to reply with stock phrases that, beneath the surface, conceal the tragic statistics of insecurity and precarious employment in Italy.
