The inspiration for the campaign
Between 2013 and 2015, EU-OSHA led a European pilot project entitled ‘Safer and healthier work at any age’. The project investigated existing policies and strategies intended to address demographic change, aiming to enhance the exchange of good practice and assist in the development of future policies in the context of an ageing workforce. A number of reports resulted, on the following topics:
- occupational safety and health (OSH) and ageing
- rehabilitation
- analysis of policies, programmes, and strategies addressing the ageing of the workforce
- final project report.
