Building safer workplaces for the digital age in Athens

An upcoming event hosted by our Greek focal point Hellenic Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs will raise awareness on occupational safety and health (OSH) in an evolving digital landscape. This initiative aims to provide attendees with information on the Healthy Workplaces Campaign and its overarching goals.

By presenting these objectives, organisers aim at empowering participants to take an active role in promoting safe practices within their workplaces, not only addressing the professional risks posed by digital technologies but also considering the broader implications for individuals’ private lives.

Social partners will present their official positions, reaffirming their dedication and commitment to the promotion and successful implementation of the campaign. Emphasis will be placed on the need to integrate OSH principles into education, vocational training and lifelong learning frameworks.

Other sessions within the event will be dedicated to unveiling a newly developed tool aimed at preventing musculoskeletal disorders, discussing smart digital systems and their applications within the OSH field, as well as shedding light on new legislative measures concerning carcinogens, mutagens and dangerous substances.
