On the 1^st of January, Belgium will assume the Presidency of the Council of the EU.  

The question of mental health at work (prevention of psychosocial risks such as stress and burn-out) will figure very high on the agenda.  In this context a high-level conference will take place on the 30^th and 31^st of January 2024 in Brussels.  

The conference will bring together experts and decision-makers in the field of mental health and work, with the aim of brainstorming together and sharing innovative solutions and best practices to help anticipate and plan for the future.  It will address the three types of prevention (primary, secondary and tertiary) and will highlight the need for an integrated approach, a strong framework at European level, a better anticipation of future crises and the importance of social dialogue.
