The 4^th Industrial Revolution brings along opportunities but also new challenges in the occupational medicine. An international congress co-organised by our Focal Point, the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities of the Republic of Slovenia, will explore what opportunities and challenges occupational medicine observes in practice and how does occupational medicine addresses challenges of the digital age. The congress also includes expert excursions to SIJ Acroni, Iron and Steel Factory Jesenice, the European Space Agency’s Gravitational Physiology Laboratory in Nordic Centre Planica and Idrija Mercury Heritage Centre. Participants are members of the UEMS OM and holders of the Certificate of the UEMS European Assessment in Occupational Medicine. The event is part of the Healthy Workplaces Campaign 2023-2025: Safe and Healthy Work in the Digital Age.
