From the movement of dangerous substances to emergency response and risk prevention, digitalisation has an impact on safety and health in the transport sector.

An event hosted by our national focal point, Institutul Naţional de Cercetare - Dezvoltare pentru Protecţia Muncii ''Alexandru Darabont'' - INCDPM, București, explores how digital technologies are influencing everyday operations in this industry, where safety is of particular importance.

Topics include digital monitoring and safety measures, highway truck safety and the use of smart technologies to support traffic control and enforcement. The programme also covers how fire and rescue services use digital tools during emergency interventions, as well as the occupational risks they face in these demanding situations.

Participants are also be updated on recent national initiatives, campaigns, conferences and collaborative events.
