Automating cognitive tasks in the workplace using AI-based systems: cases and recommendations
A gas infrastructure company in Norway, a UK-based non-profit organisation working in journalism and politics, and a German conglomerate have all integrated -based systems to automate cognitive tasks at the workplace. The systems assist workers in their core tasks and allow them to operate under better OSH conditions.
This policy brief examines the experience of the three different-sized companies and offers recommendations for the implementation of these technologies in the workplace, taking into consideration the workers’ physical and mental wellbeing as well as data privacy.
