Advanced robotic automation: comparative case study report
and -based systems for automating cognitive and physical tasks show promise in many sectors. This report contributes to research on their implementation and management in European workplaces, especially regarding occupational safety and health.
The results of 11 case studies developed by EU-OSHA are presented, highlighting opportunities, challenges, drivers and barriers for safe implementation of such systems. Recommendations focus on present and future use, especially concerning human-centred design and measures to assist worker acceptance.
