A seminar organised by our Romanian focal point, Institutul Naţional de Cercetare - Dezvoltare pentru Protecţia Muncii ''Alexandru Darabont'' - INCDPM, București , looks at how digitalisation can strengthen collaboration between occupational safety and health (OSH) experts and occupational physicians to improve risk prevention strategies within companies.

The programme begins with an overview of EU-OSHA’s most relevant projects on work-related diseases, providing the European context for the discussion.

The core of the event consists of expert presentations from OSH professionals, occupational physicians, psychologists and IT specialists. These contributions will set the stage for a debate where participants can share experiences and propose practical solutions to improve interdisciplinary cooperation to prevent risks in the workplace, identifying both drivers and barriers.

Psychosocial aspects will also be addressed, particularly concerning the role and effectiveness of psychological assessments for high-risk worker categories such as electricians, construction workers and healthcare personnel.
