The EIGA Winter Summit 2025 will be held in Antwerp, Belgium on 29-30 January 2025, with the theme 'Driving Safety Digitally'. Aligned with the ongoing Healthy Workplaces Campaign 2023–2025, 'Safe and Healthy Work in the Digital Age' the event will bring together stakeholders from the industrial gases sector to explore the crucial role of digital tools in enhancing safety, as well as to address the key risks and opportunities presented by the digital age. The symposium will offer an inspiring platform for sharing insights and fostering dialogue on the future of safety research across various sectors. The symposium will take place as part of the International Conference on Safety & Innovation, hosted by INAIL, in collaboration with the ISSA Section Machine and System Safety. Maurizio Curtarelli, Senior Research Project Manager at EU-OSHA, will be among the event’s speakers.  Participation in the conference is free of charge. Toevoegen aan agenda 2025-04-03 02:00:00 2025-04-04 02:00:00 Building the Digital Future in Occupational Safety and Health The Polish Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy and the Central Institute for Labour Protection – National Research Institute (CIOP-PIB) are organising the OSH conference under the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Titled ‘Building the Digital Future in Occupational Safety and Health’, it will be held in Warsaw on 3-4 April 2025. The aim of the conference is to discuss ethical, social, legal and health implications of the digital transformation and its impact on the labour market, working conditions and the safety and well-being of employees. The conference focuses on addressing the challenges brought about by digitalisation, such as automation, artificial intelligence, privacy protection and changes in the labour market structure. A key element is understanding how legal regulations, technological innovations and social management can contribute to maximising the benefits of digitalisation while minimising its negative effects on workers and society. EU-OSHA’s Executive Director, William Cockburn, will participate at the session ‘Ethical and Social Implications of the Digital Future’ while Xabier Irastorza will present the results from the ESENER survey at the session ‘The Impact of Digital Transformation on the Labour Market’.
