How is digital platform work described in the online media? Evidence from an exploratory exercise
This paper presents findings from an exploratory research conducted on the online public discourse relating to and the key takeaways derived from them. A comprehensive analysis was conducted on data collected over a six-month period from social networks, news and institutional websites, blogs, and forums. This included the examination of both English language and Italian content. As a result of this investigation, prime concerns of a variety of stakeholders were identified, pointing at the knowledge and policy gaps related to occupational safety and health.
