Cognitive automation: implications for occupational safety and health
This report focuses on the of cognitive tasks in relation to and -based systems and their impact on occupational safety and health (OSH). It provides an assessment of the current state of research on the effect of automation (or semi-automation) of cognitive tasks and the implications for specific jobs, tasks and sectors.
It discusses challenges and opportunities regarding -based systems and OSH, presented in the context of a central taxonomy that allows the classification of tasks according to information-related, person-related and object-related cognitive tasks.
