Security Magazine - revista dos profissionais de segurança, media partner of the 2023-25 Healthy Workplaces Campaign ‘Safe and healthy work in the digital age’, has been actively involved in the promotion of the campaign at various events focused on workplace safety and health in Portugal.

As part of the awareness raising efforts, the magazine took part in the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Days organised by the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance in Lisbon earlier in the year. Targeting 100 experts from the OSH field, we not only distributed campaign materials but also moderated a panel focused on good practices for safe and healthy work environments. Emília Telo, the coordinator of EU-OSHA’s Portuguese focal point Autoridade para as Condições do Trabalho (ACT), enriched the discussion by highlighting the future of work and emerging safety and health challenges in 21st century organizations.

The magazine has continued spreading information about the campaign at the second Conference on safety and health at work, technologies and safety coordination, held by e-coordina Portugal on 25 October in Porto. We, similarly, assumed the role of facilitating discussions among representatives from ACT and other organisations. The event touched upon such timely issues as the evolving safety landscape and the influence of technological innovation. Maria Fernanda Campos, the Inspector General of ACT, in her presentation underscored the crucial role of safety technicians and coordinators in shaping a secure work environment.

In most recent initiatives, Security Magazine hosted a conference titled "Safety and Security in Retail and FMCG" on 23 November. This event brought together professionals from diverse sectors, such as IT, and OSH. To further elevate the campaign´s visibility, the magazine distributed related material to participating experts.
