OSH in the digital era: Regional event to tackle emerging challenges in Bulgaria
An upcoming event will bring together key stakeholders from the Bulgarian Stara Zagora region to explore the evolving landscape of occupational safety and health (OSH) in the digital era. Organised by EU-OSHA's focal point in the country, Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the activity will focus on the impact of digital technologies on workplaces, highlighting both the challenges and opportunities posed to OSH by rapid technological advancements.
With a growing number of workplaces adopting digital tools and practices, this event aims to address the increasing risks associated with these changes. A wide array of topics will be discussed, including the psychosocial risks related to remote work, such as stress and burnout, as well as the legal responsibilities of employers in ensuring safe working conditions when digital technologies are involved. Through this event, trade union members, activists, employer representatives and members from the local government will have the opportunity to share insights and explore best practices in OSH.
