Advancing workplace safety for accident prevention in the digital age

An international conference on new trends in occupational safety and health (OSH) is taking place in Slovakia. Hosted by the National Labour Inspectorate / Národný inšpektorát práce, it will serve as a key gathering for experts, researchers and practitioners in the field to address some of the most pressing challenges and innovations in OSH.

The conference will feature a special segment devoted to EU-OSHA’s Healthy Workplaces Campaign, highlighting the importance of adapting safety and health practices to the evolving landscape shaped by digitalisation. The session will also offer an in-depth exploration of policy frameworks, industry guidelines and innovative solutions designed to manage and mitigate risks in this new era of work.

The programme will include presentations of research findings, panel discussions on emerging trends and showcases of best practices from leading experts in the field. This structure will provide a platform for participants to not only gain insights but also share their own experiences and challenges faced in their respective workplaces.
