Mission StatementCentrum – Centrum pro regionalni rozvoj Ceske republiky (Centre for Regional Development of the Czech Republic)
Centrum was founded in 2015 as a direct successor of the Centrum pro regionalni rozvoj CR (CRR) established in 1997 by the Ministry for Regional Development responsible for regional policy, including regional support for private enterprises on the governmental level. The Centre is through its role of an intermediary body involved in administration of operational programmes and at the same time is in charge of consultations, administration of project applications as well as of monitoring and reviewing implementation and sustainability of projects including checks of public contracts concluded within the public procurement process.
Centrum has long-term relations with a number of EU, regional and national organisations and networks, it is well embedded in the Czech business support ecosystem.
Centrum has been a member of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) from its setting up and has acted as a coordinator or a partner of many international project (besides EEN for instance Czech LOVES EEN or CZECHPan). It has been involved in all Enterprise Europe Network core activities including Working, Sector and Action Group membership, OSH Ambassador or IT Champion. As an OSH Ambassador was awarded by OSHA for its very strong activities in OSH topic several times, the last Award received in 2021. The Czech Ambassador co-ordinates all OSH activities in the Czech Republic implemented by all Czech EEN partners.
For more than 25 years, the CRR and Centrum have been engaged in provision of value-added services including advisory and partnering activities for SMEs. It has been acting as an advisory Single Market services guarantor within the Czech consortium.
