Who we are
In the Federal Working Group for Safety and Health at Work (Basi), 86 organizations and institutions (federal and state governments, social partners, statutory accident insurance, statutory health insurance, higher education institutions, institutions and professional associations) work together with the aim of improving safety and health at work in the Federal Republic of Germany.
Our contribution
The German Federal Association for Safety and Health at Work (Basi) will actively support and promote the EU-OSHA campaign “Together for Mental Health at Work 2026–2028” through its established communication channels and event formats.
Basi will raise awareness of the campaign by integrating its key messages and objectives into professional events such as “Die Basi im Dialog”, a discussion platform that brings together experts, policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders in the field of occupational safety and health. Mental health at work will be addressed as a dedicated topic through expert talks, panel discussions, and interviews.
In addition, Basi will provide significant visibility to the campaign during the A+A Congress, one of Europe’s leading forums for occupational safety and health. The congress offers an excellent opportunity to reach professionals, decision-makers, researchers, and multipliers from Germany and beyond. Campaign-related topics will be featured in presentations, discussions, and communication activities associated with the event.
Furthermore, Basi will promote the campaign through its website, newsletters, social media channels, and partner networks, helping to disseminate information, good practices, and campaign materials to a broad professional audience.
Through these activities, Basi aims to contribute to a greater awareness of mental health in the workplace and to support the campaign’s goal of fostering healthier, safer, and more inclusive working environments.
