Using AI for task automation while protecting workers: eight case studies provide new insights

EU-OSHA has just released eight case studies to understand how of tasks via ( )-based systems can be successfully implemented to ensure worker wellbeing.

The publications examine the impact of these systems on safety and health at work and identify drivers, barriers and success factors to make the most out of this technology while protecting workers.

The cases cover different contexts, including lifting, product inspection, trenching, visual recognition, inspection of gas and oil infrastructure, fact checking, AI-material quality control measures, and inspection of worksites of gas infrastructure operator.

We will soon be releasing a comparative report of case studies on AI-based systems and for task automation.
