Czech partners joined the annual Science Fair in Prague to promote OSH and the upcoming Healthy Workplaces Campaign

Following last year’s fruitful participation, our media partner of the 2023-25 Healthy Workplaces Campaign ‘Safe and healthy work in the digital age’, Bozpinfo, published by Occupational Safety Research Institute (Výzkumný ústav bezpečnosti práce), returned to the largest Science Fair in the Czech Republic. An exhibition stand hosted by the Institute together with the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (Czech National Focal Point), the State Labour Inspection Office and other partners was supported by EU-OSHA within the framework of the new campaign.

The fair, held this year from 8 to 10 June, is an annual gathering targeting students, teachers, young people and parents. It brings together experts and professionals from academic and scientific institutions, as well as public and commercial sectors to showcase innovations and the latest research across various disciplines, such as technology, nature, humanities, and social affairs.

By visiting the exhibition stand dedicated to occupational safety and health (OSH), the fair’s guests had a wonderful opportunity to discover the 'Napo for Teachers' toolkit as well as the Czech version of online teaching materials for OSH that complement the school curriculum for children aged 7-11 years. Various additional resources were demonstrated, such as a national website offering guidance on promoting safe and healthy behaviour among children and young people as well as the Napo films.

The representatives actively engaged in discussions, highlighting the significance of workplace safety and health, and raised awareness about EU-OSHA’s work at European level. To ensure that learning was both informative and enjoyable for everyone involved, the visitors were treated to entertaining games, quizzes, and crossword puzzles.

More details about the event can be found on the official website, including the list of exhibitors and a photo gallery.
