With over 500 platforms currently active in the EU, this new work model has revolutionised the labour landscape, providing opportunities for certain population groups such as people with disabilities or migrants to access or re-enter the job market. However, they also bring risks like work intensification and job insecurity that need to be addressed.

This event will facilitate dialogue towards building safer and more inclusive workplaces in the digital era and raise awareness about the safe use of digital technologies at work.
