Understanding how to manage teams remotely has never been more important than in the current context of digital working life.

A webinar hosted by our national focal point Swedish Agency for Work Environment Expertise aims to shed light on this subject by presenting current research on managers' work environments in the digital age. It will explore the challenges and strategies associated with leading from a distance, providing key conclusions for managers involved in Remote work is any type of working arrangement to work from home or – more generally – away from the employer’s premises or in a fixed location. In this context the focus is on remote work enabled by digital technologies (e.g. personal computers, smartphones, laptops, software packages and the internet). .

Researchers will discuss various aspects of remote management, including the benefits and obstacles that come with digital tools and online cooperation. They will also showcase practical examples of how to lead remotely to maintain productivity, ensure team cohesion and foster a positive work environment despite physical separation.

A survey conducted by one of the Swedish social partners will be presented, highlighting specific data on work environment and hybrid work. The session will offer valuable perspectives on the current state of digital technologies at work and the specific needs and concerns of managers.
