Safety 5.0: new scenarios for a changing world of work

The seminar provides an opportunity for reflection and exchange on the topics of health and safety in the workplace in light of the profound changes that the use of advanced digital technologies, such as robotics and , are bringing to the organizational and production processes of companies. During the event, the opportunities and challenges generated by hybrid work, work through digital platforms, and robotics, with the consequent of tasks, in our daily work practices will be particularly explored.

Hybrid work, work on digital platforms, and robotics also represent 3 of the 5 priorities outlined in the European campaign 2023-2025 "Safe and healthy work in the digital age" promoted by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, which aims to raise awareness about the impact of new digital technologies on work and workplaces, and the related challenges and opportunities in occupational health and safety .

The goal is to promote and spread the culture of health and safety prevention in both professional and personal contexts.

Experts of EU-OSHA and Inail, Focal Point Italy, will participate.

AI-based systems can be purely software-based, acting in the virtual world (e.g. voice assistants, image analysis software, search engines, speech and face recognition systems) or AI can be embedded in hardware devices (e.g. advanced robots, autonomous cars, drones or Internet of things applications). , are bringing to the organizational and production processes of companies.
