The ‘New trends in Occupational Safety and Health’ conference is coming back to Slovakia!
The ‘New Trends in Occupational Safety and Health’ international conference, with a 35-year tradition, is taking place soon in Slovakia. Organised by the Technical University of Košice and our focal point the National Labour Inspectorate / Národný inšpektorát práce, this three-day event will be a gathering of occupational safety and health specialists from all over Europe.
Participants will learn about how to get involved with EU-OSHA's new Healthy Workplaces Campaign and discover how it covers emerging trends and prevention procedures. This will be an opportunity to discuss how digital transformation is transforming occupational safety and health (OSH) practices in workplaces across the country and beyond.
The importance of carrying out regular risks assessments and the support provided by resources such as EU-OSHA's Online interactive Risk Assessment (OiRA) tools will be highlighted. The ‘Safety Enterprise’ ceremony, that recognises examples of outstanding achievements in safety at work, will take place at the conference. It will be the perfect opportunity to share experiences and good practices.
In this framework, the annual meeting of the EU-OSHA Slovak network members will take place. The National Labour Inspectorate and its partners will review their activities in 2023 and plan new action for the upcoming year.
