Hybrid film screening and debate: work, automation and humanity

A film screening and debate focused on the themes of work, and humanity targeted at the research community, students from the Spanish School of Occupational Medicine and anyone interested, is taking place in Madrid and online.

The agenda includes the film ‘Automatic Fitness’, winner of the EU-OSHA Healthy Workplaces Film Award in 2015, which explores the new world of work in an animated and satirical way and will prompt attendees to contemplate how interacts with daily life.

Before the Bridge’, winner in 2017, will also be screened. It is a documentary that confronts and the implications for the future of humanity taking a look at its ethical, social and economic challenges and opportunities.

The screenings, organised by our Spanish focal point Instituto Nacional de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo, will be followed by a debate featuring the participants and experts from diverse fields. Drawing on their expertise and insights, they will share perspectives on the themes explored in the films and engage with questions from the audience.

These topics are in line with EU-OSHA's Healthy Workplaces Campaign on workplace digitalisation and its next priority area, of tasks.
