The Healthy Workplaces Campaign arrives to the University of West Attica in Athens

Students at teaching personnel from the Department of Public and Community Health of the University of West Attica in Athens will receive a training seminar on key aspects of occupational safety and health (OSH). EU-OSHA’s ‘Safe and healthy work in the digital age’ campaign will be presented.

From basic OSH principles and current legislation in Greece to the importance of prevention, risk assessments and the opportunities presented by EU-OSHA’s Online interactive Risk Assessment (OiRA) tools, the session will cover a range of essential topics to stay safe and healthy at work.

The agenda will also focus on sedentary work and the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders, as well as psychosocial risks and how to improve mental health at work, especially in digitalised workplaces.
A live demonstration of OiRA using one of the tools available for Greece will be done and Napo films on themes relevant for the students will be screened.

The event is organised by EU-OSHA’s Greek focal point, the Hellenic Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
