Exploring the impact of digitalisation on Bulgarian workplaces and the importance of skills

Professional sectors all over Bulgaria are experiencing a wave of digitalisation that is reshaping the equipment, tools and systems used to organise, manage and deliver products and services. 

On 14 November, the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions of Bulgaria (KNSB/CITUB) along with the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, EU-OSHA's focal point in the country, will host an event focused on the impact of digital technologies in the workplace and its implications for safety and health at work.

This event will highlight the emerging trends and factors indicating how these technologies are transforming various industries. Attendees will discover how to identify occupational safety and health (OSH) challenges and opportunities in the digital age, in line with the new Healthy Workplaces Campaign.

Experts will explore the potential alterations in work organisation and management as well as in employment dynamics and relationships. The event will also examine the shift in skill requirements and the importance of re- and workers.
