Discovering how technology can revolutionise workplace safety in Naples
Introducing advanced technologies in the workplace can positively impact occupational safety and health (OSH) by improving workplace safety protocols and risk management.
Our focal point in Italy Istituto Nazionale per l'Assicurazione contro gli Infortuni sul Lavoro and the University of Naples Parthenope are exploring how technological advancements can enhance workplace safety at an upcoming seminar.
The event will focus on the potential and opportunities presented by digital technologies in shaping effective prevention policies to improve workers’ wellbeing. This will be presented through the lens of EU-OSHA's Healthy Workplaces ‘Safe and healthy work in the digital age’ campaign.
Various good practices supporting the planning and implementation of workplace prevention strategies will be introduced. This will provide the participants, representatives from trade unions, academia and public authorities, with valuable insights into how technology can be used to enhance safety management and reduce risks in the workplace.
Following the presentations, a round table discussion will take place, featuring key stakeholders involved in the planning and execution of corporate safety measures. This discussion will address both the opportunities and challenges associated with integrating new technologies into OSH strategies.
