Digital transformation for safer workplaces in the public sector
Our Greek focal point, Hellenic Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, is bringing together representatives from public institutions, occupational safety and health (OSH) experts, human resources professionals, social partners, academics and researchers, students and journalists to examine the challenges and opportunities of digitalisation for OSH.
The programme seeks to brief participants about European and national OSH legislation and statistics, raise awareness of emerging risks associated with digitalisation and shed light on work-related psychosocial risks and mental health.
Speakers also highlight the importance of mainstreaming OSH into education and discuss carcinogens at work, including the Workers’ exposure survey on cancer risk factors in Europe, as well as the role of innovative technologies such as virtual and augmented reality in safety training.
Finally, EU-OSHA's Online interactive Risk Assessment (OiRA) tools are available for the public sector in Greece are presented.
