With Remote work is any type of working arrangement to work from home or – more generally – away from the employer’s premises or in a fixed location. In this context the focus is on remote work enabled by digital technologies (e.g. personal computers, smartphones, laptops, software packages and the internet). now firmly established, many organisations continue to adjust to the demands of the home office. While it offers flexibility and convenience, it also brings specific challenges that can affect both the working environment and worker safety and health.

An upcoming webinar hosted by our focal point Arbeidstilsynet/The Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority will bring these important issues into focus.
