The CIF Health & Safety Summit 2024 is designed to share updates in innovation and improvements for health and safety and to foster a new way of thinking about health and safety in the construction industry. 

It will bring together thought leaders from Ireland’s construction sector to reinforce and promote the importance of safety, health and overall wellbeing in both work and life. The Summit will not only give access to the most up to date information and resources on construction safety and health but will also grant the opportunity to interact with experts in the field, learn from their experience, and discover new tools to improve management and promotion of health and safety within organisations.

EU-OSHA's Brenda O'Brien, Senior Manager of the Brussels Liaison Office, will be holding a presentation of the HW Campaign 2023-25 titled Future of work: Championing safety and health in the digital era, additionally she will be a speaker in the panel discussion Constructing the future: the AI refers to systems that display intelligent behaviour by analysing their environment and taking actions – with some degree of autonomy – to achieve specific goals. AI-based systems can be purely software-based, acting in the virtual world (e.g. voice assistants, image analysis software, search engines, speech and face recognition systems) or AI can be embedded in hardware devices (e.g. advanced robots, autonomous cars, drones or Internet of things applications). revolution in the construction industry and chair the roundtable Making workplaces safer, healthier and more productive for the benefit of businesses, employees and governments later in the afternoon.
