Bulgarian ministries and social partners meet to discuss workplace digitalisation

During its annual conference, the Bulgarian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, EU-OSHA’s focal point in the country, will introduce the ‘Safe and healthy work in the digital age’ campaign and present the challenges and opportunities of digitalisation in the workplace.

Representatives from various Bulgarian ministries and social partners will pool their experiences to find common ground and establish effective strategies to ensure the wellbeing of workers in the country. The Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Ivanka Shalapatova, will inaugurate the seminar.

Among the topics discussed, the participants will explore legislative initiatives on and its impact on the quality of life for workers, the role of in employee management, working conditions for individuals engaged in and emerging risks for workers associated with digitalisation.

Selected enterprises will showcase their good practices related to digitalisation to the attendees, representatives from the ministries, employee and employer organisations, companies and other occupational safety and health professionals.
