Automation and robotics: Examining the impact on OSH in Hungary
Members of Hungary’s occupational safety and health (OSH) community will discuss the challenges of digitalisation in workplace safety, with EU-OSHA's Executive Director William Cockburn and Project Manager Ioannis Anyfantis joining the event.
Held in Visegrád, the conference will present the Healthy Workplaces Campaign, emphasising task automation and exploring both physical and cognitive applications of robotic technologies and ( ).
Speakers will analyse the challenges and opportunities these technologies bring from various perspectives, including a representative from EU-OSHA's focal point in the country, the Hungarian Ministry for National Economy, as well as the CEO of a robotics company and a professor. Their insights will cover from the planning and manufacturing of robotic tools to the potential applications of in OSH, addressing Hungary’s tech landscape applied to worker wellbeing and relevant regulatory considerations.
