The Association has the purpose of bringing together at European level the national associations of employers in the hospital and health care sector, to coordinate their viewpoints and their actions in the context of a sector and a market undergoing constant evolution.

Digitalisation is and will be playing a role in the way that care is provided for in hospitals, and thus creates new benefits as well as challenges to occupational safety and health. As a long-standing campaign partner, the European Hospital and Healthcare Employers' Association HOSPEEM strongly supports the campaign "Safe and Healthy Work in the Digital Age".
