The initiatives of Medicover, the Official Partner of EU-OSHA in the "Safe and healthy work in the digital age" Campaign, are dedicated to build employee awareness of working with new digital technologies. In 2024 Medicover Ergonomics’ Team of conducted educational and information campaigns and activities for clients as well as company's employees. 

Events organized for Medicover’s clients include both stationary trainings and webinars, as well as practical workshops promoting healthy, safe and ergonomic way of working. Workshop participants learn about the capabilities and limitations of their bodies and are familiarized with good practices. During ergonomic trainings, employees receive advice on safe work techniques and gain knowledge on the prevention of musculoskeletal system disorders, with the use of demonstration of exercises that reduce musculoskeletal ailments and promote an active lifestyle. This year, the activities were related to the topic of digital work.

In 2024, we carried out the following actions for over 250 participants, during which we promoted the goals of the EU-OSHA campaign:

In addition, we organized events dedicated to Medicover employees, including the April ergonomic webinar entitled: “Office and Home Ergonomics. How to ensure comfort and efficiency of work." Over 100 people took part in this event (pic.2).  

The webinar was dedicated to employees of offices and medical facilities who work with computers for at least part of their working day. Its goal was to increase awareness of the impact of new digital technologies on people and the places where they do their work, in line with the message of the Ergonomics Team, which is as follows:

“Employee health is a priority, which is why we would like to provide our employees with the necessary knowledge and skills needed to ensure ergonomic working conditions, which will contribute to reducing the risk of injuries, back pain and other ailments experienced during the day. We provide practical tips and ready-made solutions that will help create ergonomic working conditions both in the office space and at home”.

The second activity we introduced in 2023 and which we have continue since then are periodically organized Workstation Ergonomics Trainings dedicated to newly hired Medicover employees. In 2024, we carried out 11 stationary training courses, during which we trained 220 employees.
