The event marks the conclusion of the Bundesanstalt für Arbeitsschutz und Arbeitsmedizin (BAuA) dialogue series “Hybrid, location-flexible, multi-local working” and serves as Germany’s national closing event of the EU-OSHA campaign “Safe and healthy work in the digital age” 2023-2025. Its purpose is to reflect on key outcomes of the campaign and the dialogue series, highlight scientific and practical outcomes, and provide a platform for exchange intertwining research, policy, and practice.

The objectives are to:

  • Review the results of the EU-OSHA campaign on digitalisation and three years of Science in Dialogue, coordinated with the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA).
  • Present research findings on hybrid work, team collaboration, and developed personas.
  • Compare national approaches to occupational safety and health in hybrid work from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.
  • Foster dialogue between experts from academia, administration, and companies to shape future working environments.

The target audience includes representatives from government, research, employer and employee organisations, companies, and occupational safety professionals who are engaged in shaping safe and healthy working conditions in the digital age.
