Why is it important?
Healthy workplaces benefit everyone – from workers and businesses to customers and society as a whole.
If workers feel supported and valued, they are more likely to cope with job demands and therefore be more productive. In turn, society is more likely to benefit from fewer sickness absences, lower healthcare costs, and stronger communities.
But the OSH Pulse Survey 2025 reveals a clear concern. Many workers say their jobs impact their health negatively:
- 37% of workers experience overall fatigue
- 29% experience stress, depression, or anxiety
It is therefore important to identify, prevent and manage psychosocial risks in the workplace to improve mental wellbeing at work.
