Digital Smart Systems

The working groups "Changing Occupational Safety Systems; Coordination of Occupational Safety Structures" and "Workplaces, Machine and Operational Safety" of BAuA are highlighting the upcoming workshop "Digital Smart Systems" on September 3, 2024. This event is part of the Healthy Workplaces Campaign 2023-25 "Safe and Healthy Work in the Digital Age" by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA).

Building on the online workshop with the same title held in October 2023, this workshop will focus on the current development status of digitizing rules and standards. Additionally, it will discuss the application possibilities and transferability to various regulatory areas.

Participants will include representatives from the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) and professional associations, experts from BAuA, state occupational safety authorities, industry experts, and actors in state committees and standardization processes, particularly the Commission for Occupational Safety and Standardization (KAN).
