With a rapid and ongoing evolution of the occupational health field comes the need for professionals to stay ahead of trend, research, and innovations. 

For this reason, the Federation of Occupational Health Nurses within the EU (FOHNEU) has partnered with one of Ireland’s leading trade unions, the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) to organise the 8^th edition of its International Congress. This year, the Congress is taking place in Cork, Ireland from the 2^nd to the 3^rd of October 2025 and will be centred around the theme “Leading the Change”. EU-OSHA's Irish focal point, represented by Gavin Lonergan, will give a presentation on Healthy workplaces campaign 2023 -25 ‘Safe and healthy work in the digital age’. 

Over the course of two dynamic days in Cork, participants will engage in a rich program of conferences and exhibitions. The range of topics explored will be wide, from digital innovations in OSH to leadership, including diseases, protection, health in SMEs, and diversity. 

The Congress will be a great opportunity to gain insights from top experts, network, stay ahead and explore the possibility of cutting-edge solutions. 

Researchers, policymakers and OSH professionals are invited to submit proposals for presentations, workshops and posters until the 9^th of May 2025. Find the Call for Papers here.
