Adapting work to ageing in a digital world

The Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities of the Republic of Slovenia invites to the international online seminar “Ageing Workers in the Digital Age”, taking place via Zoom on 8–9 October 2025.

The event is structured into two thematic sessions held on consecutive days.

  • Session 1: How to adapt working environment to the ageing workforce? (8 October 2025)

  • Session 2: Managing ageing workforce: from theory to practice (9 October 2025)

The purpose of the seminar is to address one of Europe’s most pressing challenges: how to adapt workplaces, policies, and practices to an ageing workforce in the context of rapid digital transformation. The objectives are to highlight research findings and practical experiences from Slovenia and across Europe, explore innovative approaches to retaining ageing workers, and provide insights into occupational safety and health, lifelong learning, digital skills, and intergenerational cooperation.

The seminar will feature leading experts from Eurofound, EU-OSHA, academia, and practice.
